Economic Empowerment Of Women

The project on Economic Empowerment of Rural Women and Younger Womenfolk is underway in 30 villages of Nagpur and Chandrapur Districts of Vidarbha, since the year 2019. It primarily focuses on single women who are separated, divorced, widowed or are facing violence and abuse. 

•  More than 300 one on one counselling sessions. 
• 172 SHG's are affiliated to Maharashtra Rajya Jivannoti Aajeevika Mission 
• Around 1720 women are linked to Government Insurance schemes. 
• Reduced personal loans from micro finance companies Work with SHG's Property Rights, Pension, Ration for single women

•  25 single women were assisted in online application for pension 
• 120 women applied for the job cards 80 women got their job cards in hand.
