Program With Suicide Affected Farmers' Families

Prakriti is working on Rehabilitation of Distressed Farmers’ Families since 2008. The organization is implementing a full-fledged program for suicide affected families in Akola and Amravati districts.

We also focus on their mental trauma to facilitate them in coping with the aftermath of the life-changing event. Prakriti aims to assist these women to gain control over livelihood options so that they become financially independent. They also need to be assisted to gain control over property rights to their dwelling

Output

300 suicide affected farmers families were reached , rehabilitation, livelihood promotion and supporting education of children from these families, Suicide prevention and mental health awareness
